After all Masses the weekend of September 4th and 5th, there will be a display of handmade & hand-carved gifts from the Holy Land in the back of St. Martha's Chapel. Items include Nativity and Last Supper scenes, crucifixes, rosaries, and many other beautiful religious articles. These Holy Land gifts represent over 150 Christian families who make a living selling traditional olive wood handcrafts & religious articles. When you purchase one of the items, you are helping artisans in the Holy Land provide for their families, and live and work with dignity in a region fraught with tension and oppression. Consider buying a special item for your home, and they also make wonderful gifts for others. Thank you, and God bless.
