Join our youth to feed the hungry with a non-perishable food donation! The final day of our Faith Formation’s Annual “Love Your Neighbor” Food Drive for this year is Sunday, November 3rd! Examples of non-perishable items include canned goods such as vegetables, fruits, beans, meat, and soup, also dry goods like rice, pasta, oatmeal, and instant potatoes, and boxed foods such as cereal, crackers, and macaroni and cheese. All items collected will be used to stock the shelves of Saint Timothy's “St. Vincent de Paul” Food Pantry. Donation collection boxes are available in the church, and our final “drive-thru” collection in the church parking lot is Sunday, November 3rd from 10am-Noon. Our Saint Timothy Faith Formation 9th & 10th grade students help with the “drive- thru” and emptying the collection boxes, sorting, and organizing everything. Across the country including our local community, many households are challenged with food insecurity and at times need to choose between buying food or covering other essential costs such as medical care, rent, or utilities. Every donation from each of you truly makes a difference. Whether you helped our food drive by providing a food donation, a monetary donation for our outreach, spreading the word to others, or praying for us, we thank you for your continued generosity and support!
