The Coalition to Protect Kids-NY New York Equal Rights Amendment Public Awareness Campaign Town Hall Series. The coalition is a ballot issue committee created to defeat the so-called Equal Rights Amendment to New York State’s Constitution. In the amendment to the NY Constitution, the STATE could have more authority than parents in making medical decisions for children. Minors could have the right to irreversible transgender procedures without their parent's notice or consent. There is more to this vague, broad ballot initiative.
